Jnr Nationals What a week it was at Cardrona again and this year they had 5 events ( slope, pipe, sbx, GS, and dual GS ) the weather was not looking to good but in the end it turned out alright.
Day 1 GS.
What can i say we got taken out by some aus kids on hard boots. there was three of them and they all beat us by 6 sec. but was a super fun day considering we were on our jibb boards ! after we did our runs me and Benny Comber when and hit up the slope get some early runs threw the park.....
Day 2 SBX
So today we get up there top of the lift 8.30 am.was not many people racing so only had to do 2 races all day, i came out with a 2nd was super stoked had a real fun day !
Day 3 Slope
FINALY! this is what i have been amped for all season. the conditions were good a little bit windy but not to bad , I do my first run and its not looking to good i hooked my toe edge on the second jump with a front 7, second run i stomp and im super stoked i did back 5 cab 9 back 7 just what i wanted..... coming out with a 4th place witch no one was to happy about so a few coaches went and had a talk with the judges and they said they put the points in to the computer wrong and they said i got top 2 for sure but they lost there bits of paper so was kinda gutted bout that but was a super fun day super stoked to have just put my run down.
Day 4 Dual GS and Half Pipe
Another 8.30 am start and i was super tired but to start the day off we had Dual GS this was the first time they have ever had this in jnr nationals and it was my first time ever doing it as well so i could not wait! so we had a little look at it then straight into the race i did my 2 and then headed off to the pipe. The pipe was so sick but it was getting soft really fast, my first run went ok i just did back to back 5s second run i did a 5 first hit then was going up the next wall and hooked a edge and smashed my face my tooth went threw my lip but i was algood. i ended up coming out on top with a 1st in the Dual GS and a 3rd in the pipe i also won the over all U16 so i was happy, had a fun week cant wait to sleep.
